Aulas Ponders Trezeguet Cost
(Soccer365.com) - With various reports claiming that wantaway forward David Trezeguet is too costly for Lyon, club president Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted that the Juventus star is still under discussion.
"A quality player is never too expensive," said the executive, who still could see a windfall should Mahamdou Diarra leave for Real Madrid. “David is an exceptional player.”
"The Juventus officials ask themselves if they have to let him leave or to keep him," Aulas told L'Equipe. "Even with his price, he represents 20 to 25 goals a season, and that is fantastic."
"I think at a certain time we will have to make a decision that matches our ambitions and our abilities, but it is too early yet."

Never leave Juve, we'll be back in a year; Real Madrid is trying to secure every star on the planet with absolutely no clue how to manage the galaxy of stars they already have. Serie B is a drop, spending most of the time on the sidelines with Real Madrid is not the answer.

Extremely unlikely. If a team is going to pick you up they would do it early on while you are young, 18-21 or so dpneeding. Considering it will take you 10-12 years to complete your PhD, by the time you were done focusing on your studies you would have lost your chance to play. Now of course you could still work towards your PhD while playing, but that would extend how long it takes to get it, not to mention that you would still need to complete clinical and intern work which playing professionally would not allow you to complete. If you are good enough to get a spot with a team like Real Madrid, then go for it. The payday could be very lucrative, then when your playing career was over you could always finish your degree and then go into medicine as a retirement job.
