Ballack Favors Low Appointment
(Soccer365.com) - Germany midfield ace Michael Ballack has praised the promotion of Joachim Low to head man following the departure of World Cup 2006 navigator Jürgen Klinsmann.
"It's a shame that Klinsmann has decided against carrying on, but at the same time I'm glad that Joachim Low will be our new coach," he told the DFB website.
"He knows the team well and will continue to work in the way that we have been used to in recent times."
The Germans are coming off a third place finish in their hosted World Cup, and drew plaudits for the attacking play of several youngsters.
