Conway: "Houston Best Team in the League"

(Goal.com) - New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Jon Conway hailed Houston Dynamo as the top team in MLS following Saturday night's 1-1 draw at Robertson Stadium.

Conway's Red Bulls left Texas with a 1-1 draw despite only having three shots on goal. Both teams were reduced to ten men in the 71st minute, moments after Houston's Dwayne De Rosario beat Conway with a penalty kick to tie the score.

"In the first half they were coming at us pretty strong, but we were able to hold them off," said Conway. "I thought we were pretty good defensively. We got a goal early [in the second half], however right after the goal we gave up a penalty kick.

"They're by far the best team in the league from front to back so coming down here and getting the draw is a big accomplishment for us," added Conway, who made a terrific save on U.S. international Brian Ching in the 83rd minute to preserve the draw.

"He didn't know where I came from so I just looked up and said, 'Not tonight buddy'," said Conway about preventing his former teammate from netting a winner.

"Again, they're by far the best team in the league so to get a draw tonight is a good way to keep us on our run."

The Red Bulls have gone unbeaten in four straight matches.

Houston is a good team, but the difference is they have a great coach in Dominic Kinnear. Who has managed his talented team, to it's fullest advantage.
