Crespo Desperate For Italian Return
(Goal.com) - Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo has reiterated his desire to return to Serie A.
The Argentinian star has enjoyed a prolific career with Parma, Lazio, Inter and Milan, and wishes to return to the country.
Crespo is desperate to leave Chelsea despite the incentives offered by owner Roman Abramovich.
"He offered me a house, a private jet and more money, but money and success doesn't come into it," Crespo said.
"Italy is my natural environment, it's where I'll live when I retire and it's the best place to play.
"Abramovich is a marvellous person and Chelsea is a fantastic club, they have treated me like a king.
"The fans have been great too, but I am waiting here, just hoping my mobile will ring.
"I can guarantee that I am a healthy striker with just one wish - to return and play my sort of football."
But a Chelsea statement read: "He is contracted for the next two years and will remain so unless we receive a suitable offer.
"Everyone at Chelsea is aware of his domestic situation and we have every sympathy for that."

He will perfect at AS Roma, with Totti,De Rossi & Mancini he'll score a ton of goals,I doubt altough the Roma could afford him.

yeah, i know. he would be great and Roma is looking for a good striker. Trezeguet would also be good but he's also expencive. a good strikere that they could afford thow is Iaquinta

Iaquinta is a former pupil of Spalletti (Roma's coach)so he's insisting for him,I would love to see Trezeguet wearing the Roma shirt but it's wishful thinking. Crespo would be nice it's not going to happen(besides he played for Lazio),crespo may end up with Inter or Milan.

Crespo is a great player. To me he & his Argentina teamates had the most creative team in the world cup this year. He's played in Italy before so it should work out well for him.I can't blame him for wanting to leave Chelsea.
