Deschamps Takes Over At Juventus
(Goal.com) - Italian crisis club Juventus has appointed Didier Deschamps as their new manager.
The former World Cup winner with France joins in the week that it is expected Juventus will be relegated from Serie A for their role in the match-fixing scandal that has stunned the world of football.
The 37-year-old, who has managed Monaco to a Champions League final, won three league titles during his playing days with Juventus.
Deschamps, who replaces Fabio Capello in the role, has signed a two-year contract.
Juve's fate, and that of the other clubs involved in the investigations, is set to be revealed later this week.

I wonder if he knew Juventus was going to be relegated to serie B with a 30 points penalty when he signed.
