Perez Steps Away From Denmark
(Soccer365.com) - Ajax forward Kenneth Perez has announced his decision to retire from playing for Denmark.
The 31-year old veteran of 19 international caps felt it was time he stepped aside to give young players a chance.
“I look back with pleasure and pride at the games I played for Denmark,” Perez told the club website. “This is truly the best time for me to stop.”
“Young talent can have a chance to make the selection and I can give my all to Ajax.”
