real has both games

i saw them in chicago destroy chivas de guadelajara, who by the way just won the copa libertadores and would KILL any american side, and real just tore them apart.

i love MLS but be serious, theres no way in hell this is gunna happen

real has both games

is this a joke?? Are d.c. united hoping to look bad?

Let's be realistic,if Real Madrid fields the real team, and they play a real game there is no chance, But alot of teams when they come to play in a friendly tournament, don't realy care, they don't play with the starters and they try alot of youngsters or new players, therefor DC United may not look as hopeless as you think, once again if it was a cup's final and both teams were playing for real and both had their starting line ups,DC United would not have chance.

Real will bring top players, probably not their out and out best 11, but they will bring big name player as these American tours by big European clubs are promotional as much as anything. They typicaly bring some big names to continue to promote the brand of their club abroad.

That said, you have to remember that, though United will play hard, because they are given a chance to compete with the best, the point of such a friendly for them is not really to win. DC do not expect to go in and beat Real Madrid, but they do expect to continue to learn and develop though playing against those at the top level. That's what this is about, continuing to develop MLS.

It's a fantastic opportunity, and I hope MLS continues to arrange matches such as this. So go to the match to see your favorite players and some of the world's best. Go to support MLS or because you are a Real fan. Buy you ticket so that European clubs will continue to come to the States for these exhibition matches. But don't spend much time worrying about the result of the match. It's all about exhibition and improving the level of play in MLS, rather than anyone thinking that DC will go in and beat Real.

I wish I could go...but by an ironic twist of fate, I will actually be in Seattle the week before this match and no longer there on the 9th.

I am going to this game and hope to see some of the world's greats work dc united. I would like to see dc united win but I would have to say that they have no chance in hell.

Man, Dc United is in sooooo mucho troubles xD

I am totally wowed and peprared to take the next step now.
