Ricardo Expects Attacking France
(Soccer365.com) - Portugal keeper Ricardo, fresh from a penalty success over England, says it will be difficult to put the breaks on the offense of World Cup semifinal foe France.
"I think it will be a tough game, particularly given the excellent French attack," said the netminder. "We just must make sure we score one more goal than them."
Ricardo specifically target Zinedine Zidane for praise, but warned that he cannot be a focal point.
"Zidane is one of the world greats and I really think it is a shame he has decided to retire when he is still playing at such a high level," he asserted.
"But he is not their only class act; there are others where he came from."
