Thuram Concerned With Azzurri

(Soccer365.com) - France defender Lilian Thuram has cautioned his teammates against peaking too soon because they have one last big championship obstacle in considerable World Cup final foe Italy.

"I know these players and I know how strong they are," said the Juventus star. "I know their quality and it will be a very hard game."

"It is probably the best team in the tournament, I could always see them going very far."

"The coach made a very good selection for this group and they have been playing together for a long time," warned Thuram, a veteran of Les Bleus’ 1998 triumph. "It will be very hard for us."

yes it will be hard. france good team, terrible goalkeeper. what were you thinking thats why italy will win. zambrotta will unload a bullet that barthez will not even see. but i give props to the rest of the french team

yes it will be hard but at the end I think Italy will win
Forza Italia

italy has been lucky till now but that wont go that far their luck never last to win the championship. once again we will see ZeZou as we seen him with brazil play at his best. no doubt france will win even dough italians will try to fake penalties and fouls.
goodluck this time.

You pick zambrotta? a defender? to unload a bullet? how do you come up with zambrotta scoring a goal with all the other superstars on the field? if anything zambrotta will be stopping attackers from scoring, not scoring goals! anywho, you can predict all the want which teams are going to win, but the teams are too evenly matched to pick a favorite. both teams have just as good of a shot as the other. i just hope it is an exciting game and doesn't go into pk's, because thats a horrible way to win/loose a world cup final.

France will win. nuff said.

everyone here remind me which team only let in one goal throughout the entire tournament and it was a flucking own goal...everyone remind me which team has 11 goals scored by 10 different players. How could you possibly think in any way that the french a-holes have a chance at beating the Azzurri?!
you people are ridiculous at think thinking that!
FORZA ITALIA!!!!!

Italy shouldn't have beat australia on a pk that was a terrible call. You're acting like its italy vs. Togo or something. Fact is if italy plays bad like they have most of the tournament, they don't deserve to win, and they don't deserve to even be in the finals. You can say 10 players have scored goals, but that is worth nothing if they play like they played against the US or Australia. Fact is you're letting your opinions take over fact, because you're an big italy fan. France won't be a push-over, so stop giving people stupid facts about italy, they arnt as good as you say they are.

France has no goali, no defence, ok mid and good attackers, Italy has the best goali, best defence, good mid, good attackers. I think Italy is going to win 2-1 with delpiero and zommbrota scoring the goals and henry scoring for france.France has no chance haha!!

France will win because they will be mentally stronger having had a more difficult path to the finals. They have thrived being the underdog and Zidane will retire with a World Cup trophy. Italy has had a cake walk until they faced Germany and it took them until the last minute of the game to score. History will repeat itself when Italy lost to France in the Euro 2000 Finals.

i just want to see a really good game... maybe a little pull for france to win because i am a huge zidane/henry fan. but, whether win or lose, i want zizou to leave on a high note.

france should win there the best

Italy are the champions full stop.
No one has scored a proper goal against Italy apart from penalties and an own goal. Italy has the best Defence and they had a good team of players.
So all you people who have something to say about the Italians, just save it. Maybe until 2010 you can start whining....

FORZA ITALIA!!! CAMPIONI DEL MONDO '06

Haha. I woke up down today. You’ve cheeerd me up!
