Esposito Headed Towards Rome

(Soccer365.com) - Cagliari flank threat Mauro Esposito is in play for suitors AS Roma, according to club president Massimo Cellino.

The Italian winger Esposito may finally join Totti and company at Roma.

This was admitted by Massimo Cellino, President of the Rossoblu, who acknowledged that there is currently an on-going negotiation to transfer the player from Sardinia to Rome.

"I spoke with (Roma executive) Rosella Sensi, I authorized the negotiation," stated Cellino. "We want to please Esposito because he needs new motivation."
