Galaxy Sign Jazic
(Goal.com) - Canadian international defender Ante Jazi has signed with the Los Angeles Galaxy as a senior international.
"There are some quality players here and the level of play is high," said Jazic. "I think Frank [Yallop] has done a good job and we just have to keep it rolling and get some wins now."
Yallop knows Jazic well, having coached him during his previous gig as Canada's national team manager.
"He certainly adds to our roster, and it is good to have Ante officially available," Yallop said in a statement. "He is happy to finally be able to play and I am very happy to have him too."
Jazic has played for Austria's Rapid Vienna and for Croatia's Hajduk Split. Most recently, the 30-year-old plied his trade with Russian club Kuban Krasnodar.
Jazic will be available for the Galaxy's August 9 match against Houston Dynamo.
