Riquelme To Sign Improved Deal
(Soccer365.com) - After a summer of transfer rumours, Villarreal playmaker Juan Román Riquelme has divulged that he is on the verge of reworking his contract.
The Argentina star had been linked with the likes of Inter Milan and Manchester United, but says he spurned offers to remain on the Yellow Submarine.
"I do not want to change my life and will continue without change," stated Riquelme. "I have a contract for three seasons with Villarreal and I do not want to leave."
"It is guaranteed that I will sign a new deal, although there are a few details to complete yet."
