Doll Impressed Despite CL Loss
(Soccer365.com) - Hamburg coach Thomas Doll was quite proud of his charges after a tough 2-1 Champions League loss at Arsenal that nearly saw them come back with 10 men.
"We showed against a world class team that we could compete even with one player down," he told reporters. "If the goal had come earlier, maybe we could have got an equalizer as well."
"I don't think we would have lost with 11 men."
"We will take strength from this," insisted Doll. "We worked superbly in midfield."
"The result is not the right one, but we will take many, many positives from this match."
