Koeman Eyes More Liverpool Magic
(Soccer365.com) - PSV Eindhoven boss Ronald Koeman knows his team are up against it with Champions League visitors Liverpool.
The manager was successful in dethroning the Reds while leading Benfica in last year’s tourney.
"Liverpool were hard to beat last year, and will be the same again this time round," Koeman told reporters. "They have given themselves more options in a number of positions, but they still have Rafael Benítez as coach, and I don't think there will be a great deal of difference about the way they play."
Koeman says the Framers have been busy at work on their set piece offense and defense.
"At this level, there is never much space and opposing teams tend to get a lot of men behind the ball," he exlpained.
"That is why, in my opinion, dead-ball situations are the most important factor in the modern game."
