The American Abroad, over on loan from Manchester United, has allowed but two goals in four games for the third place Toffees.
"Tim has come ready to play, and maybe he had a bit of a point to prove," Moyes told icLiverpool. "He had barely played for a year, and I was a bit worried how long it would take for him to get back up to speed, but I think he has done that quite well."
"We've been quite pleased with how he has done, but we will now find there will be bigger tests coming up for him."
