Nowak: We Need More Discipline

(Soccer365.com) - D.C. United boss Peter Nowak was pleased to see his side collect the Eastern title with a weekend win over New York, but admits to being concerned over their sudden misconduct crisis.

The capital crew survived a Facundo Erpen ejection to hold off the Red Bulls 4-3.

“You cannot score three goals then give the other team a gift so they can come back,” Nowak told MLSNet. “It's unacceptable right now.”

“We had two red cards against Chicago, and another red card tonight.”

“We cannot go with this kind of mentality,” said the coach. “It was a beautiful performance from us tonight, though."

Man this coach should beat those guys with a belt when they get out of line hahah show them whos the boss haha

For once, Robbie, I agree. There is really no excuse for a red card, let alone three in two matches. If you get a caution, take care so you don't get another. If you got a straight send off, then whatever you did was unexcusable as all red card offenses can easily be averted in my opinion. with the possible exception of serious foul play. but only if was unavoidable (i.e. player did not see other player before making a play on the ball or something like that). Whatever the case, Nowak needs to give his team a serious talking to in order to prevent further misconduct. and btw, Robbie, I'm sure you have more than enough experience with that belt haha

Yea haha see i'm not so bad or always wrong haha i played this one game haha where this dude was really coming after me with late tackles & really bad fouls and stuff like that haha so i just smiled even though i wanted to kill the dude so afterwards in the parking lot i tracked this dude down & beat him up very bad even his dad tried to sucker punch me and i beat up the old man too haha my point is i saved it for after the game which we won haha and also beat the guy up and his dad haha so it was a good day for me haha
