Riquelme Hands In Argentina Shirt
(Soccer365.com) - Villarreal playmaker extraordinaire Juan Román Riquelme has reluctantly announced his retirement from the Argentina national team to tend to his ailing mother.
The midfielder has eight goals from 36 caps, and enjoyed a strong World Cup 2006.
"Since the World Cup, my mother has been taken to hospital twice and my responsibility is to take care of her," he stated. "It was an easy decision to make"
"It will hurt me deeply not to wear the Argentina shirt again, but my mother's health comes first."

This forum is just a way to break my daily routine of work and family,not a matter of life,I enjoy it because I get to chat about my favorite sport that I grew up with in Europe, since here in the states it's not a major conversation peace.But if I have to respond to an idiotic statement like yours?????,then I guess I'm better off with out it.
