Beckham Held Red Bulls Talks
(Soccer365.com) - Real Madrid star David Beckham has held preliminary discussions with Red Bulls owner Phil Anschutz regarding a possible MLS move in the future.
The England star is not likely to arrive before the 2008 season, when the New Yorkers will open a $140 million stadium.
"A move of this kind in the future cannot be ruled out," a Beckham representative told British daily The People.
"There has always been interest in David from the States."

The MLS needs an icon,Beckahm can give the league a nice lift and increase the crowds.

ITs obvious that beckham is doing this for attention. He wants everyone to have something to talk about other than him getting taken off the English squad

Becks will create the same media blitz that Pele did with the Cosmos of the 70's, it will only help the league and give it the media boost and fan following the MLS can only pray for.

the MLS just sucks period. how sad is it that if beckham went to the MLS, the best player in the whole league would b some washed up british guy whos only purpose in life is skincare commercials

Haha right on victor!your right dude! beckham is like worse than a girl always messin with his hair n stuff haha he's a washed up wimp as well like at the world cup in that game when england played portugal he hopped off the field sat there and cryed haha almost as lame as the players from italys team haha man old rooney should have knocked him up side the head for being such a sissy haha
