Addicks Welcome Gibbs To Practice
(Soccer365.com) - US defender Cory Gibbs made his training debut with new club Charlton on Thursday and coach Iain Dowie admitted it was a sight for sore eyes.
The Addicks have stumbled out of the gate this season, with many of their problems coming at the back.
"Cory is still a long way away, but it's his first day training, so it's a very positive thing for the lad," Dowie told the club website.
Gibbs is in the final stage of recovery from knee surgery and the American Abroad hopes to be ready to play in mid-November.
