Bornstein: I’m No Longer A Rookie

(Soccer365.com) - Fresh from completing his debut MLS season, Chivas USA freshman sensation Jonathan Bornstein says he will come back for next season a grizzled pro.

The former UCLA Bruin started each of the 32 games, notching six goals and four assists from several positions.

"I think it's just been a slow buildup to getting my mentality and my confidence," the versatile youngster told the San Bernadino Sun. "Bob had the confidence in me to start me at left fullback."

"The transition to just becoming what they call a good pro; that, in effect, has been the biggest thing," said Bornstein. "I think I've reached that point."
