Dempsey: Transfer Wheels Turning
(Soccer365.com) - New England attacker Clint Dempsey has revealed that negotiations are underway with at least one team across the pond, but he isn’t naming names.
The US World Cup standout has been linked with the likes of Atlético Madrid, Fulham and West Ham United of late.
"Things are happening quickly," Dempsey told The Daily Sentinel. "Europe has the best of everything: more money, more competition, a better environment because of the fans."
"In the MLS, you don't get the support that you need," he said. "When you get a chance like this, you want to make the best of it."
"I have to prove to myself that I can do it."

I hope he gets his wish, if he wants a challenge he will definitely get one across the pond.

Hate to see him go, but Clint will be our next superstar and this opportunity will give
him the experience and confidence he needs
to take it to the next level and beyond.
I will always remember him for the one and
only USA highlight of the last World Cup.
