Ferguson Confirms Adu Visit

(Soccer365.com) - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has ended press speculation by admitting that D.C. United phenom Freddy Adu would be arriving for a two-week trial on November 18th.

The U.S. Under-20 captain will first meet up with that squad in Florida before jetting off to England.

The Red Devils can agree to sign Adu, but would not be able to bring him over until he turns 18 next summer.

"We've known about him for a long time," Ferguson told the club website. "We tried to get him some years ago, but he signed for D.C. United."
