The dynasty side have already opened up a 14-point lead after only 15 matches.

Auxerre coach Jean Fernandez recently told reporters: "Lyon will be champions."

"They are in a league of their own - you have Lyon on one side and on the other side you have seven to eight clubs fighting to finish second or third."

Malouda, however, feels no sympathy.

"We will continue to increase our lead," he asserted. "We want to win everything this season and we want our lead in the league to be as huge as possible."

"That will boost our confidence for the other competitions."
