Revs Dealing With Cup Letdown
(Soccer365.com) - New England midfielder Daniel Hernandez figures the team weren’t supposed to win MLS Cup against victors Houston on Sunday.
The Revs took the lead through Taylor Twellman in the second extra session, but quickly allowed a Brian Ching equalizer that forced the deciding penalty shootout.
"Any coach will tell you: after you score, don't let your guard down," Hernandez told MLSNet. "You can't let stuff happen like that, not in the final."
"We let it slip away and that's what makes it more disappointing."
