Enough Fat Talk, Says Ronaldo
(Soccer365.com) - Real Madrid strike star Ronaldo says he is done listening to questions and jibes about his weight, which he feels only begin when he fails to find the net.
"I think it is absurd we spend so much time talking about my weight," he blared. "All the tests and controls are open for everyone to see."
"What most annoys me is the way things come out in the press: when you score goals you are great, when you don't you are fat."
"I am completely dedicated to my work and trying to improve and I'm not interested in what others say," concluded Il Phenomeno, who has only struck once on the young season.

ya but he could score way more if he wasn't so fat cause he's a great player he definately has to lose weight

from what we can all see he doesnt care what anyone thinks of him, jsut that fact its annoying being called fat since being stated in world cup '06.. where we all saw, he became all time leading scorer in world cup.
dont criticize him, he was one of the greatest strikers in the world and now he's ageing like any great footballer does. it makes no difference because there are still many rising stars to take his place

Ronaldo is not fat, he's just big boned...Ok, so he's getting fat! That doesnt change the fact that he is still a great player. Although he would be better if he would shed a couple of pounds.

Lay off Ronaldo he is still one of the greatsest players in the world so what if he got a little heavier. Everyone does just wait he will lose it and score goals like there is no tomorrow.

Ronaldo is fat because his work ethic is horrible. He never gives 100% everyday. Only when the fans are on his back. He is a spitting image of Cassano excpet he doesnt pick fights he jsut whines and complains and wonders why the fans are fed up with his attitude and work rate to the team.

Ronaldo is a fabulous striker. i was actually at the game where he hit that incredible hat-trick against man united in the 2003 champions league quarter final. All the manciunians stood up and gave him a tremendous ovation when he was substitued. There have only been a handful of players from opposing teams to ever recieve that good treatment from the fans at Old Trafford.
