(Soccer365.com) - With young payers like Phillip Lahm and Lukas Podolski leading the way, Germany boss Joachim Löw believes the national team are set for a new ‘golden generation’.
The coach also has several uncapped starlets on the verge of making a breakthrough.
"Beside the established figures like Michael Ballack, Torsten Frings, Jens Lehmann, Miroslav Klose and Bernd Schneider, we have many players coming through with great potential," he told reporters.
"In the next few years we can see a new golden generation coming through," declared Löw. "We have the ability in the team now to play at a high level for a number of years to come."

I think low is correct. The present crop of players' to be found on Germany's national team are very good dispite the fact that the majority of them are very young. They went much further in the world cup than many people expected & if this core group of players manages to stay together for a long period of time & the injury ratio is low they will cause problems for the other national teams that have to face them.
