McBride Patient Over New Deal
(Soccer365.com) - Fulham striker Brian McBride says, despite loving life in London, he is in no big rush to extend his contract with the club.
The American Abroad has five goals on the term, but reportedly has been targeted for a Columbus return by Crew coach Sigi Schmid.
"I'm enjoying my time at Fulham and we'll see what happens about a new contract," said McBride in the aftermath of a deciding strike against Middlesbrough on Monday.
"Fulham will decide what they want from me and I'll decide with my family what's best for us," he added. "But right now, I have to concentrate on what's happening on the pitch."

Anything this guy wants I hope he gets it.
There has never been a better example of the American soccer player- gives 110%, never complains and delivers the goods consistently.
Brian is fearless and would put his head where other players wouldn't put their feet.
My memories of his play are mostly brilliant goals but also, unfortunately, the many
bloody, gory injuries he has received in search of goal.
Good Luck Brian.

He knows how to play american soccer. When he got his head split open in the World Cup against Italy, he didn't start rolling on the ground and screaming like Christiano Ronaldo does everytime someone bumps into him. He went over to the sideline, got stitches, and was back in the game. It was a great game too, despite the terrible officiating. He has been American soccer for the past decade.
