Agoos Shoots Down Rivaldo Talk
(Soccer365.com) - Red Bulls general manager Jeff Agoos has rubbished speculation that he was busy trying to bring Olympiakos attacker Rivaldo to New York.
The former Brazil ace has recently been revealed as a target for Mexican side Necaxa.
"There's no truth to our interest in Rivaldo," Agoos told the Herald News. "At this time, we have had no talks with or have had interest enough at this point to pursue him."
"We're not talking to Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho," he cracked, "Or any other player whose name starts with "R" and ends with "O"."
