Barthez Happy With Cup Return
(Soccer365.com) - Fresh from backstopping Nantes to a 1-0 Coupe de France victory over Guingamp, comeback man Fabien Barthez stated he would be in top form in less than a month.
The former France star came out of a brief retirement to help the club avoid Ligue 1 relegation.
"I retired because I had no proper challenges left, but what Nantes president Rudi Roussillon suggested to me was a proper test," said Barthez.
"I am three or four games short of my best shape."
