Totti May Skip Inter Match
(Goal.com) - If the rumours are confirmed, there will be at least two matches of suspension for the Roma captain.
If the first indiscretions that have come through will be confirmed, Francesco Totti will most probably skip the game against Inter at San Siro in two weeks' time.
It seems in fact that referee Nicola Ayroldi showed Totti the red card for a "reaction foul": that's what the match official apparently wrote on his report: if that were the case the captain would almost certainly risk a suspension of not less than two matches and that would prevent him from guiding his team against leaders Inter on the 4th of February.
So this disconfirmes the hypothesis that the giallorosso captain was expelled for not responding to Ayroldi, despite the latter's insistent calls for him after what happened between the Roma number 10 and Galante.

He does not deserve the red card and should be able to play the inter game. He has the brains and the skills and is able to control the field very well. For those who thinks he does not have the skills obviously do not watch any of his games...........

Totti is a wimpy, overrated, slow soccer player. He is not as good as people make him up to be. He definately didnt deserve to win the WC 06 and he doesnt deserve to play in on Roma.

rcfutbolfreak, to make a comment like that you know nothing about football. If you did, you would know that Totti is an excellent player--top 20 in the world and you would know that he and the rest of the Italian team deserved to win the wc when they beat Germany in the real wc final.

I never said italy didnt deserve the WC i said Totti didnt deserve it. Wat did he do in the World cup seriously. Fabio Cannavaro was the heart and soul of the team and hes the reason why they won. MATERAZZI, PIRLO, ZAMBROTTA, CAMORANESI md contributed alot to this team and had a well deserved victory over Germany in the final. Totti...did nothing.

I agree totti didnt do anything in the WC

Totti had 1 goal and 3 assists. Thats not too bad for a guy who was playing injured. Look I'm not a big Totti booster, he's not my favourite player on the Italian team, but he did do his part in winning the wc. Every one of those guys on that team did their part. Totti included.

Ur rite my first comment was a little harsh about totti but i still dont think hes the player people make him up to b. and in my opinion not in the top twenty in the world.

The only guys in the world that I would rather have besides Totti in midfeild are Kaka, Ronaldinho or Messi.

Ronaldinho, Messi, Zindane,Kaka ze Roberto, eto'o,deco, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard, Beasley,Ballack, Podolski,Pirlo,Robinho,Figo,Maniche,Thuram,
Essien. I would pick over Totti

a few of the guys you mentioned aren't even midfeilders such as: Et'o, Beasley, Thuram, Ze Roberto and Robinho. Beasley? Are you serious? Come on. No disrespect but even you know Beasley isn't better than Totti not to mention Maniche. The other ones are at least arguable.

yes i knw some of them do not play the midfield but i think they could play it better then totti. and beasley is a very good player maniche did u c him in the world cup? and ze roberto does play midfield and so does beasley
