Cooper Chasing More U.S. Caps
(Soccer365.com) - Recent USMNT debutant Kenny Cooper says it was tough to miss out on the Mexico friendly, but says he will keep doing the job with FC Dallas to ensure he is called back by Bob Bradley.
"It's definitely been a goal for a while now," the forward, who opened his international account with a debut goal against Denmark last month, told the Dallas Morning News. "It was a great experience, but I'm kind of hungry for some more."
"I was a little disappointed not to be involved in the (Mexico game," admitted Cooper. "I know life goes on."
"I'm excited to be back here in FC Dallas - if I want more opportunities with the national team, I have to play well here."

Keep fighting Kenny, you'll be there soon enough. I think Cooper and Johnston are really the best hope to fill McBrides boots, and the combo of that size and place would give defenders greif

I think that Cooper is a good player, but the USA needs to change tact. They need to utilize speed more, like in Bobby Convey, and EJ as well. All these years the US has attacked by the same pattern, cross the ball in to McBride. And as it turns out, that didn't work, as we have been sucking lately. Change your tactics with the new coach (also, take the interim label off of Bradley, he is a very good coach), and maybe they'll start winning more.

Bradley's job would be much easier if he had more quality players. On the entire squad as it stands there are maybe 4 to 5 quality players & thats it. Bradley needs to give Donovan the boot as Donovan when it comes to being hot & cold he's far more cold than hot. For Bradley to also suceed his handlers with the USSF need to step back & let him do his job & support him with proper funding & the things he needs & keep the politics out of it & all this is more or less not going to happen.

Bradley has it tough as the USSF is run by idi*ts that dont know what they are doing. On top of all that he has been given charge of a weak squad whos only skills are to run their mouths to the media & going out to play foul fest in internationals!
