Davies Eager To Meet Expectations
(Soccer365.com) - Hammarby rookie striker Charlie Davies says he doesn’t mind the raised pressure to succeed after arriving from Boston College this winter.
The young American Abroad signed with the ambitious Swedish top flight side after a failed trial with Dutch giants Ajax.
“It just makes me want to work harder,” he asserted. “I want to be the goal scorer they want me to be and I want to make Hammarby Allsvenskan champions.”
“(Team captain) Mikkel Jensen is extra tough on me, but I appreciate that he yells at me when I make mistakes,” said Savies. “He wants me to be as good as I can be.”
