Dempsey Hoping To Find Prem Nets
(Soccer365.com) - New Fulham signing Clint Dempsey says he wants to continue the offensive ways that made him an MLS star in the Premiership, his favorite league in the world.
“I am a very attack minded player,” he told the club website. “I like to have the ball at my feet and take players on.”
“I have managed to get some goals during my time at New England and I hope it is something that I will also be able to continue during my spell at Fulham.”
The Texas native admitted to being an EPL from afar, saying he thinks he has the game to do well in England.
“In my opinion, this is the best and hardest league in the world,” offered Dempsey. “I have watched a lot of games back home in the States and it is a very exciting league… I think the way in which it is played will suit my game well.”
“More than anything, it has always been a dream of mine to play in this particular league, so I am very proud to have got my chance to do just that.”

Dempsey you are a great player in the MLS. The MLS is nothing compared to the Premership league. Why would you want to go to the Premership and embarress yourself. Stay where you belong.

this isn't Landon Donavan we're talking about. Clint plays with passion and flair he's going to do just fine.

I think it will take Duece some time to adjust to the pace of the game but he'll do well next season.

RC, Dempsey was one of the few Americans that looked dangerous in the WC and he scored a nice goal against Ghana. I guess you can argue that Ghana isn't as tough as the Premiership (Michael Essien excluded), but I hope Clint proves you wrong. Fulham and their 1.5 million pound transfer fee obviously see something you don't.

Yes i have to admit he did score in that game but only from a brilliant ball from Beasley. and yes he did look dangerous at times i just for some reason dont see him excelling at that level of soccer but who knows maybe Fulham just made a brilliant move.
