Donovan Sees Both Sides In L.A.
(Soccer365.com) - U.S. star Landon Donovan knows that many of his Los Angeles Galaxy fans support Mexico, and he says he’s fine with it.
The ‘Nats often play to mixed support crowds when EL Tri come a short way across the border, as they will Wednesday night in Phoenix.
"When I'm out I see a lot of Mexican people, and they're friendly and nice, but then you get out to the stadium and they're just yelling at you," Donovan told the Press Enterprise. "That's the nature of it."
"They are passionate and they are loyal to their country and their team," he shrugged. "It doesn't bother me, I'm pretty used to it."

Donovan is like a deer caught in headlights. He's a halfway decent player & fairly quick but I think his brain shorts out in big games. It wont get any better for him with Becky Beckham coming to Los Angeles. I think Donovan will end up getting lost up in the mix.

So many people in the US think Donovan is so great. the only thing he does well is run...without the ball. i agree his brain does kinda short out in big games well said Grady

The USSF is political & thats why Donovan is still in the position he finds himself. Yeah, of course the boy can run but thats about it. Donovan will become Beckham's servant. You know, cleaning Beck's boot's before & after games, just a high priced waterboy you might say. He's fading as a player.

Yeah right he sees both sides. Donovan just does what he's told. Even the remarks he makes in the press & media are given to him before he even speaks. He's in over his head with both the national team & pro ball in Los Angeles. He's just not professional stock grade. Give him the boot!
