Dunga Rues Attack Sloppiness
(Soccer365.com) - In the aftermath of a 2-0 friendly loss in Portugal, Brazil manager Dunga conceded that the team were creating offense for their hosts with turnovers.
The Samba Kings were downed Tuesday night by late strikes from Simão Sabrosa and Ricardo Carvalho.
"I think we were easy prey for counterattacks," Dunga told Brazilian television. "We’ve got to move the ball more and ensure that the ball always stays close to our players’ feet."
"We suffered the first goal in exactly that way, from a lapse of concentration."

Yeah no kidding. It's not like Portugal is just an average team. I think Brazil's players' believe their own hype drummed up by the media. It's one thing being the so called best & considered the best. It's quite another thing to take your heads down from the clouds & actually show up to play.

Somebody should tell old cow dung that you cant win all the time. What makes it more difficult for him is he has a squad loaded with stars which means many egos to cater to. Brazil reminds me a lot like Holland. It's one thing having a squad loaded with top guns. It's another thing to get them to play well together. Brazil has always managed to do that but it looks like winds of change for Brazil. They are still hands down one of the best teams in the world but they will not win every single game they play.

I'm not surprised at all, Portugal is a good young team,Cristiano Ronaldo is at the top of his game, Brazil reminds me of the NY Yankees all the best players, always the favorites, but not always the winners.I personally would have liked the 2006 WC final to be Italy-Portugal,even though the Italians would have won it anyway(experience does count).
