Eto'o Returns To Training
(Goal.com) - Samuel Eto'o returned to full training with FC Barcelona after four months and two days out with a knee injury.
The Cameroon striker's comeback has been hotly anticipated as he neared the end of his recovery after damaging his meniscus in against Werder Bremen in the Champions League in September.
After walking onto the training pitch in front of La Masia at Barça's Camp Nou ground, Eto'o warmed up before receiving a round of applause and hugs from his team-mates and the coaching staff.
Under the watchful eye of physical trainer Albert Roca, the free-scoring forward stretched before doing some strength-building exercises and some shooting practice.
Eto'o's return to the squad has been pencilled in for the game against Racing Santander on February 11.
The former Mallorca favourite netted four goals before picking up his early-season injury and has vowed to end the campaign as a the division's top scorer.
On the morning after losing the first leg of the Copa Del Rey quarter final against Real Zaragoza, a number of Barça players did not train on the field.
Rafael Márquez, Lilian Thuram, Xavi, Ronaldinho and Javier Saviola were in the gym, while Gianluca Zambrotta, Carles Puyol and Oleguer left the session after half an hour.

La Liga is about to be turned upside down. Barcelona was first place without Messi and Eto'o, and now they are both back. Kiss any title shots goodbye. Vayan por la copa Barca!!!

Adam is right! Barca was amazing without eto'o and messi and now that thyre BOTH back there is going to be a goal scoring fiesta!!!

barcelona suffred with a bit without eto and messi but still on top now they arte back
may god have mercy on real madrid next time around
