I Would Like To Stay On In Milan - Crespo
(Goal.com) - Inter Milan striker Hernan Crespo - on loan from Chelsea - has hinted that he is interested in staying on with the Nerazzuri.
Crespo moved to Inter on a two-year loan last summer, after spending yet another personally forgettable season at Chelsea.
That, in turn, came about after AC Milan were unable to agree a transfer fee following a successful loan-stint stint with the Rossoneri.
Despite the two-year loan deal, Chelsea have an option allowing them to take him back to England this summer.
The 31-year-old refused to get drawn on that subject too much too early, but hinted that he would be happy to stay on if Inter could work things out with Chelsea.
"I would like to stay on in Milan, but the decision must be taken by Inter and Chelsea," he said.
Crespo's wife, Alessia, is an Italian, and the player himself has spent most of his career in Serie A. He moved to Italy from River Plate in 1996, and has since spent 8 of the 10 years in the country..
Parma, Lazio, Inter, and Milan are his former clubs, with his Italian stints being interrupted by two one-year spells with Chelsea.
However, he will have an uncertain future for the sixth summer in succession - having moved each of the last five years (Lazio-Inter-Chelsea-Milan-Chelsea-Inter).

Ooh, the Rossoneri will not welcome him back if he gets that deal with Inter. We are talking massive amounts of booing, insults, and possibly taking a leaf out of the Mexican's book and resorting to beer-cup-pee-bombs. I can't wait to see how this one turns out.=)
