Lehmann Hints At Arsenal Exit
(Goal.com) - Arsenal number 1 Jens Lehmann has hinted that he might be on his way out of The Emirates at the end of the season.
There are doubts as to whether the Gunners will hand the 37-year-old an extension beyond the end of the season, and the German number one hinted at a move away from the Premiership.
"The Bundesliga and Spain are possibilities," he told Kicker. "I'm playing because I want to sign a new contract somewhere."
"One-year contracts are very good as you are not allowed to make mistakes or have bad spells," he continued, speaking of Arsenal's policy of not handing long contracts to players over 30.
He also suggested that he might even retire altogether.
"If I'll leave one or two years earlier or later, it doesn't matter," he said. "It has to end some time.
"I like London, the club and the stadium but there are also other aspects. I haven't finalised my thoughts."
Despite his age, he has been a regular for Arsenal - who are still involved in all four tournaments this season!

he is without a doubt a liability to Arsenal. Only a moment any form being sent off at all times.
