Ngwenya: No-Name Crew Can Win
(Soccer365.com) - Columbus attacker Jospeh Ngwenya believes the team’s lack of star players won’t necessarily keep them having success in 2007.
The Crew did chase former hero Brian McBride, but came up empty when the Fulham strike ace signed a contract extension.
"I think it’s a bit unfair of the fans to think we need to add a whole bunch of talent to this team, but it is understandable after last season," he conceded to the Columbus Dispatch.
"We have a lot of young guys who are going to be hungry," offered Ngwenya. "You can go out and get a player who has achieved a lot in their career, but they might just be coming here to play and enjoy themselves and see what the U.S. is like."
"We have guys who are out to prove something and that’s going to be exciting."

I can't understand why this guy has such a chip on his sholder? This is a very weak league & any of it's so called stars are runts that are not good enough to play in Europe. Face it. If your a professional & can't make the grade to play in Europe you are nothing!
