Nicol Held Initial Fowler Talks
(Soccer365.com) - New England coach Steve Nicol has revealed that he recently chatted briefly with Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler over a move to MLS, but warned that any move is still a ways off.
"We'd be interested in Robbie," Nicol told PA Sport. "We've spoken, but as of yet there's nothing been settled."
"It's something he's thinking about, but at the moment the first thing is the financial side."
"He's getting his ducks in a row," stated Nicol. "Whether he gets a contract at Liverpool or whether he moves on, he's dipping his foot in the water."
