Reis Aiming To Get Over Final Loss
(Soccer365.com) - New England goalkeeper Matt Reis says it is mission #1 for him to take the club back to MLS Cup, so that they can erase the painful memory of last season’s shootout defeat to Houston.
"That was one of the worst losses of my life, but in order to have highs, you have to have lows," he told the Boston Globe."
The club have begun preparing for the 2007 campaign, and Reis is dead set on his target.
"Being back in Boston now, it's exciting to have a chance to be able to do it all over again," said Reis. "We're all motivated to win the championship."
"That's the goal: to win rings and championships."
