Ronaldo: I’ll Be A Samba King Again
(Soccer365.com) - Freshly unveiled at AC Milan, strike superstar Ronaldo vowed to earn his way back in to the Brazil selection.
Il Phenomeno has clinched a move from Real Madrid, and now is prepared to wow Samba Kings boss Dunga – a former international teammate.
"The story isn't over," he told Globo "Getting back to the national team is still in my plans and I want to do it on merit."
"Once again, as always in my life, I'm going to bounce back and hopefully score lots of goals."

Ronaldo will be a sentimental favorite no doubt, earning his way on the team - no way - Brazil is too deep, he's lost not a step but two steps and he can't control his weight. I look for him to be on the national team anyway so he can pad his World Cup goals totals.

If he has a weight problem...what the hell is he doing in Italy???,that's like trying to stop drinking but you work as a bartender. The food there is awsome!

In his new contract Milan threw in a custom built am/pm mini mart built right at Chubby Ronnie's home so he can binge eat burgers & dogs 247. It's no wonder the chubby one went there to play <<<scratch that out, I meant Eat!

Ronaldo will never play on Brasil's national team again. Brasil has way to much young talent for him to get his position back. Ronaldo was a great player... was.

If Ronaldo can get back on form, good for him.If he doesn't,bad for Milan. That's OK with me though, I support Inter.

A Samba King? Ah Right! ..Not! More like a poster boy for Burger King!

for Giova: I never diliked Italy? I also said that when they won the cup they deserved it for playing the smartest and most consistent, not necessarily the best, actually I don't despise any country,I love soccer that's it,life is too short to worry abut hate.

"NEWS FLASH" In the heat of the rioting in Italy with soccer fans. Ronaldo was seen running down the streets of Milan with a half dozen pizzas' in his arms being chased by a very unhappy cook.

I heard the same thing and I believe the cook was noneother than Adriano,oh boy!

...And while everyone of you was arguing 'bout Rono's weight, you lost sight of the fact that he is still one of the best goalscorers on the planet. I mean, do we take away from George Best's incredible career because he just happened to develop Cancer in the latter years of it... don't think so... he'll be back, Brasil!!!
Posted by: Brocca Silva | February 7, 2007 05:18 AM
Hi brocca, a joke is a joke but a good player shows it on the field, ronaldo still has something left and I hope he shows it, I personally hope he does well as I don't like Capello,so who ever proves him wrong is OK in my book,as for G. Best one of the best of all time, my friend I hate to tell you it was something else that got in the way,not cancer,as for another great which was not a greta example, may mention a certain Diego..M something?

y do yall hav to be hatas? dont hate on the guy just cause hes the best striker alive i think dunga's pretty dumb not to let him play right now he has an unexperienced team and thats bad cause brazil better get him if they want to win the copa america

I like food from Italy it tastes good. i also think Ronaldo is still good and is better than david Beckham but not as good as oliver kahn. because oliver kahn rules. oliver kahn should come to the u.s. and Newcastle United should make a branch of their club in the M.L.S. (kind of like in Australia.).
