Tevez: I Hardly Speak With Curbishley

(Goal.com) - West Ham striker Carlos Tevez has admitted manager Alan Curbishley speaks to him very little.

The Argentinian has yet to score a goal for the club since joining from Corinthians, and recently saw fellow countryman Javier Mascherano shipped out to Liverpool on loan.

Tevez told The Sun: "The manager speaks to you very little. They put the set-pieces on a blackboard and you have to go up and read it - it's a much colder way of doing things.

"But I do feel relaxed here. I feel comfortable at the club.

"The people adore me, chant my name and treat me well. My wish is to get the team out of this situation we're in. I am not thinking about leaving.

"I don't want a situation to happen here like the ones that happened at Boca Juniors and Corinthians where, for reasons beyond football, I had to leave - and I left in a bad way.

"I don't want people to think I'm a trouble-maker. When I leave, I want to leave on good terms. I do miss my family and friends a lot."

I don't think Curbishley is handling Tevez the right way. My mom was born in Brazil, so as much as I dislike Argentina, Tevez is a fantastic player. Curbishley needs to spend more time on him so that he can adapt to the premier league quicker, start scoring some goals, and have West Ham's investment start paying off dividends before they get relegated.

well westham is going down anyway so tevez
should just stay cool until the summer
other big clubs are waiting for him for sure.

Tevez would be a nice fit for an Italian team--maybe Juve? Argentinian players always thrive in Italy.

Tevez is a good player,Italy or spain ,next destination, but not a big club, they'll ruin him, he needs ateam that plays for him,in Italy maybe Fiorentina, Torino or Palermo. In Spain i see him in Valencia(not to say they aren't a big team)Villareal,Deportivo,Atletico M.Hey here's a thought about Napoli if they come up to serie A,he'll be the next Maradona there.

May Curbishly should try giving him a pacifier. I'd try a kick in the pants. Tevez has great skill proved in the World cup but after 2/3 season in europe nothing..but a bit of whining. Grow a set and fight for your place man!! WEst Ham is in a relagation battle if he could help the squad he'd be in it.

and if he was to be the next Maradona, he would show at any club in any league in the world. The only thing similar about the 2 players is there nationality

Super jazezd about getting that know-how.
