Blanco Pleased With El Tri Return
(Soccer365.com) - Veteran Mexico attacker Cuauhtémoc Blanco is feeling himself again after new coach Hugo Sanchez ended his Ricardo Lavolpe-imposed international exile.
The 34-year old made his comeback after a fantastic run with Club América, and now says he is aiming to make the 2010 World Cup squad.
“It feels really good to be back,” Blanco told the San Diego Union-Tribune. “I've worked hard for this.”
“I deserve this,” he declared. “I want to play in the 2010 World Cup.”
“I know it's going to be difficult, but I'm going to try my best.”

Blanco's time has passed we have a lot of young players cominh that are good like Castillo, Vela, Santos so if Blanco wants to play in 2010 there will have to be a lot of injuried palyers for that to happen which I don't see happing.
