Galaxy Unfazed By Becks Injury
(Soccer365.com) - If the Los Angeles Galaxy are concerned that David Beckham’s knee injury will delay his summer arrival, they aren’t letting on.
The club have largely stepped away from the matter, deferring to current Beckham employers Real Madrid until July.
The former England captain is expected to miss a month, a layoff length unlikely to hold up his MLS coming out party.
"Obviously, we hope it's not a serious injury, so he can get back to helping Real Madrid challenge for the title," read a club statement.
"We do not expect this injury to affect his arrival in Los Angeles or his debut with the Galaxy."

I'm laughing so hard right now about this. The best part is Becky Beckham did this to himself! What a clown! The $250 million dollar bench warmer. Hey! MLS Fans! This is what you have to look forward to! This is what you bought your season tickets for! Becky Beckham will come out to Hollyweird, make a few tv adds so the team owners can make back their money plus a profit & you will be left to figure out what happened! It's not going to change one single thing in American soccer! Wait & see! Mark my words! This entire situation is a sad joke on American soccer fans, it really is.

Okay so he's injured!!! There is no reason for you to call him "Becky Beckham." Hating cause you don't have his skills. Get a life. He probably earns more money than you. Your live a sad life by just giving negative criticism!!!! Yes you Sam Adams!!!

His skills? Wait which ones? like the ability to suck yeah i really wish i had tht.
Posted by: RcFutbolFreak | March 6, 2007 05:31 PM
Not one single known club in all of Europe wanted anything to do with Beckham that's why he going to America. He was kicked off Manchester United, rode the bench at Madrid, & dumped from the English national team & yet there are still stupid people that post here that think Beckham's a good player. Give me a break! As a pro he as been average, even below average at best. People like Soccer 15 will be waiting for David (loser) Beckham here in the states with pom pom's in their hands as if it's the second coming of Christ. How stupid.

Why you hating on my boy Angus Scrimm, RcFutbolFreak, and Sam Adams? Beckham RuleZ with a capital "Z". That rhymes with "B" that stands for Beckham, that stands for Beckham.

Nobody's hating just presenting the facts. Becky Beckham is washed up. It's a proven fact he's weak as he get's injured very easy. He has no pace at all & moves like an old man. The only skill he has is with free kicks & that's it. What Beckham really has in his corner is the right people working for him. They really earn their money as they blow him up to be almost Godlike. Hollyweird is the perfect place for him. It's full of over hyped past it losers' just like he is. America is the only place he can play now & I bet he even has a difficult time playig there also. Most of the players' in the MLS are pretty angry knowing he's going there for so much money so I'm sure they wont make life easy for him in that league I think he's going to pick up a lot of injuries in the MLS.
Posted by: Sam Adams | March 8, 2007 03:56 PM
I think Beckham is going to do well in the MLS for one reason and one reason only. The league fits him. Its a sucky league. Beckhams is a sucky player therefore Beckham will fite rite in.

Cha Right! Sam Adams and the rest of ya'll Beckham is probably way faster and stonger than you. So eat it!

Beckham de David é meu melhor amigo e eu o amo gostar de um irmão. Por que são odiando nas suas habilidades. É meio melhor que qualquer de você jamais será especialmente Adams de Dam.

Guys relax, it's just a sprain, no need to panic. Those who have played the game understand that this happens. 2nd, those who say Becks is washed up obviously haven't watched any football over the last month. He's been Madrid's best player. If you watched the 1st leg between Real/Bayern, he was the Man of the Match setting up 2 of 3 goals. HE IS STILL BETTER THAN LANDYCAKES (LANDON DONOVAN) EVER WISHED HE COULD BE!

If Beckham ruled he would be the main man on one of the top teams in Europe. Reality is he's done at the top level. He's been done at the top level for years starting the minute Manchester United kicked him over to Spain & it's been all blue Monday's for Beckham ever since. He's going to play in the only play left for him to play with the losers in the MLS. Birds of a feather, flock together.
Posted by: Tommy Bolin | March 9, 2007 02:36 AM
The M.L.S. is not a bunch of losers I beat you aren't even good enough to play in it Tommy, that is why you are hatin' on my boy David Beckham.
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 9, 2007 07:07 AM
Hey King the MLS is full of losers. It's full of players that cant make the grade in Europe & this is why Becky Beckham will fit right in there. Your one of those people that watches too much tv. You believe all the hype you see in the media. You have to look at the facts. Not one big club in Europe wants anything to do with Beckham. If so then he would have signed there. All those clubs know the same thing I do & know the same thing anybody with any kind of soccer knowhow knows & that is Becky Beckham stinks!
Posted by: Sam Adams | March 9, 2007 01:42 PM
Why do u continue to ignore the truth "keeper king". Beckham isnt a great player he wasnt a great player he will never be a great player. No matter wat league, wat team, or wat country hes in okay?
Posted by: RcFutbolFreak | March 9, 2007 03:30 PM
U.S. soccer is going to be boosted so much by David Beckhams coming to America and you still hate.
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 9, 2007 04:43 PM
Plus I don't even watch that much t.v. because I play soccer so much.
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 9, 2007 04:44 PM
Lets look at some facts David Beckham rocks at Freekicks, though his speed may be gone he is still a leader on his team, and he is sweet at long crosses.

King you live in a fantasy world. First of all Pele was a million times better player than Beckham could ever hope to be. So was Best, Moore, Cryuff, Alburto & the list goes on & on. That old league the NASL was way more popular than this league of losers the MLS. The NASL drew much larger crowds, even on week nights & it still suck like a ship full of holes. The MLS draws much smaller crowds. It's nowhere near as popular as the old NASL & Beckham coming wont really change it much you will see. Your like a little kid that argues over which marvel comic action hero is the best. Grow up!

I know plenty about soccer and I realize Beckham is not the best player in the world but he still rulez.
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 10, 2007 10:46 AM
Beckham is part of everything thats wrong with soccer today. It's no longer a sport. It's big business & big money. Barnes is correct about Beckham's past. He comes from nothing, the slum area of London. He was very lucky to make it to the level of a professional soccer player. What he has been smart about is taking the money he made from playing early on & investing on a team of people around him to create the Beckham myth. Those people have earned every penny he's paid them as they have built him up to be larger than life. He's a trouble maker as a player. He's always gone behind the managers' backs when he wanted to get his way. Not the mark of a man but more the actions of a spoiled child. Los Angeles wont be an easy ride for him. It wouldn't really shock me to hear about somebody taking him out. As out there it's a weird place & the more money you have the bigger a target you are! Like I said Beckham's a cancer to soccer & now other stupid players are watching what he's been doing & following the same script. It's not good for the sport. Beckham has a lot of money but money wont buy you respect. nobody respects Beckham. Not managers'. players' or true soccer fans'.

I agree with u sam totally. If Beckham wasnt in the soccer world soccer would be much better. He is a sorry escuse for a soccer player and should fit rite in the sucky MLS.
Posted by: RcFutbolFreak | March 10, 2007 05:51 PM
American's are suckers for the media & fads. They all jump behind the latest craze however stupid it might be. This month's flavor, Beckham. Just so you Yank's know over here in England Beckham is a joke & he always has been. The average man on the street, the football fans here never have felt he deserved to be on the national team. Matter of fact it was cause for celebration when he was knocked from Manchester United & again we celebrated when he was knocked from our national team. We are glad he's going to America as it's better you lot have him than us. He's a worthless sod of a player & I hope you feel very merry that you spent so much on so little of a player.

Jeez calm down. I never really liked Beckham that much it is just not very cool to call people names and make fun of their skillz behind their back.
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 11, 2007 10:33 AM
I take back all of my earlier comments about Beckham ruling Beckham I guess really does stink I read his bio on wikipedia when I was supposed to be doing research on a report for ancient Roman myths.

Thanks for putting some sense into my brain. Oliver Kahn still rulez though.
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 11, 2007 10:55 AM
Anytime king lol
Posted by: RcFutbolFreak | March 11, 2007 02:09 PM
King! Theres hope for you yet! Guess what! I agree with you 100% about Kahn. He's a little older now but still he's one of the best keeper's in the world. Now if he came to the MLS I would actually buy tickets to see him play.
Posted by: Sam Adams | March 11, 2007 02:49 PM
I am glad we came to an agreement Kahn still rulez.
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 11, 2007 05:12 PM
Did you see that sweet save Kahn had on Beckham during the Bayern/Madrid Champions League match?
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 11, 2007 05:18 PM
What happened to some of the comments?
Posted by: Keeeper King | March 12, 2007 09:23 PM
Kahn is a good player but hes getting old and washed up a bit. He'll still be excellent for a couple of more years then hes done.
Posted by: RcFutbolFreak | March 12, 2007 09:27 PM
Kahn sucks
Posted by: n | March 23, 2007 06:17 PM
The Galaxy should be fazed & concerned as they bought a very injury prone problem child of a player. I think Beckham will spend more time off the field for the Galaxy, than on it.
