Guti Invites Ronaldo And Kaka

(Goal.com) - Real Madrid midfielder spoke to Marca about the team's title prospects, Capello, and the future.

"The club have to sign the best players," said Guti. "Real Madrid must have players capable of making the team win while delighting the fans with their football.

"The last genius in our ranks was Zidane and I'm sure the fans want someone like him in the team again.

"We understand the fans' need for spectacle.

"It is being rumoured that Cristiano Ronaldo or Kaka may join us and I like both players. I'd love to play with them.

"The best players should play on this team."

He also defended Capello once again: "The coach has been heavily criticised and I don't like that. He came here to try to make us a winning team again and he shouldn't be blamed for everything.

"He is a great coach and he deserves to be successful here, especially after all the criticism he's received. We support him and together we will try to be champions again."

As for Madrid's title prospects, he said: "We have the obligation of thinking we can win the League. We have options of winning and we are going to fight to the end while we still have a mathematical chance of winning.

"Incredible things have happened in the League's history, such as the two Leagues Real Madrid lost against Tenerife. I remember the League we won with Del Bosque when Real Sociedad were leaders and it seemed we would never catch up with them.

"We are constantly thinking about the calendar and we always tell ourselves that we must win the games against Sevilla and Valencia at the Bernabéu. They are two of our strongest contenders and we have to prevent them from winning points."

Ok, heres the deal .. Forget about Ronaldo, that's just wishful thinking. He's not going anywhere. Stop & think why the remaining good player's you do have like Cannavaro want to leave. Maybe he's not too fond about being on a sinking ship! Last but not least .. cut Capello loose ..Quick! Maybe get the old guy that bplayed the boxer in the movie Rocky to be manager. Afterall I heard he's saying he's an expert on the game since being in that 80's soccer movie with Pele & Micahel Caine! Look at it like this. He can't be any worse than Capello. I've seen first year, know nothing AYSO coache's that could do a better job.

Capello is like a terrible coach and I don't see why they got him after those match fixin' scandals. He pretty much stinkks.

The crowds' boo Capello at ever game now. Don't woory King. He's on his way out at season's end. He will be going back to Scandal League Central in Italy where he stands a better chance of finding a team foolish enough to hire him on the fly.

Guti can send out invites all he want's. Maybe Kaka will end up going there someday but with Ronaldo .. It's not going to happen! Guti's offical invite ..Hi Ronaldo old chum! Come join me here at Madrid! Yes, we haven't won anything in a few years & we have Elton John's Bro as a coach but look on the bright side ..The weather's fine! Come on over! ..Ronaldo's response ..Uh, that's ok. I like hanging with the kick & run crew!

I'm getting tired of Real Madrid's tactics. Cristiano Ronaldo has come out & said he wants to stay at United for many years. Yet, Madrid continue to come out and publicly say they're going to pursue him in the summer. I'm not sure, but isn't that technically "Tapping Up." If it were an English team doing the same, UEFA would come down hard. When it's Real Madrid, UEFA always looks the other way.

Its a given that Ronaldo will stay and kaka is married to Milan. Scotty is right with cannavaro set to leave over the summer they seriously need to look for a good defender, seeing as Jonathan Woodgate will most likely sign for boro. In addition, they also need to to work magic to get Robinho to stay.

Where Cannavaro end's up in anyone's guess but I hope it's a big club withou all the problems' Madrid has as he deserves it. I'm a forward so I don't usually pull for defenders' but he's one of my alltime favorites. My Dad's from Scotland & my Mom's from Italy so as you guys' might guess it's hard for me to side for either team today as I like both but am in the middle. I hope Cannavaro has a good match & if Italy win's I hope at least my dad's boys' make them work for it. I think that's a fair statement on my part!

Ronaldo will never leave Man U. Kaka wont fit in well with madrid. So i think capello is just "wishing" that they would come and play for him. The only way for Cristiano ronaldo to come to madrid is to pay him a HUGE amount of money. And he still probably wouldnt come. Hes on a great team in Man U, hes got a great coach the fans love him and he gets paid good too...why leave?

RC, it isn't just Capello, even the Brass for Madrid are publicly stating they want to pursue Kaka & Ronaldo. Even though the players themselves have said they don't want to leave their current clubs & the clubs have said we aren't selling them. I ask again, isn't this considered "Tapping Up". Madrid's arrogance really bothers me.

U knw wat Ghost rider rite after i posted tht i was thinking why the heck is Madrid so confindent? Maybe that club has something up their sleeve or something. I mean why are the so confindent that they are gonna get two top class players in the world?

It's because Madrid are used to always' getting what they want. No top player in their right mind is going to want to be anywhere near that club as long as Capello is there making one blunder after another. Kaka & Ronaldo also have a no buyout clause on their present contracts so even if Ronaldo was not to extend his present contract by two years he's still stuck there for two more years. As for Kaka he's very happy at Milan & I don't think he's going anywhere. In the news today it was reported that Manchester United are the richest club in the world right now which doesn't surprise me at all. Madrid are trying to flex muscle they no longer have & if I were that club I would be suspect to any dealings with United anyway. Look what happened when Beckham was sold to them for 25 million some years back. Not a good return to say the least. It was like buying a car with a state of the air sport body to it with four flat tires & nothing under the hood. United came out the winner in that deal that's for sure! Madrid, what fools.

Maybe the people that run Madrid have a slight problem with hearing. Your right about both players' having no buy out clauses on their contracts. Both play for quality clubs' as well. Ronaldo is really playing for a great side. Goes to show no matter who you might be your not alway's going to get what you want. Going to a club that has so many things going wrong like Madrid would be a step down for both these players'.

Madrid does have problems in more ways than one. No top professional player in their right mind will want to go anywhere near that club aslong as Capello is still there. What a joke that guy is.

It's crazy how fast Madrid have fallen from grace. I don't see it as a quick fix either. They need a new manager & also need to clean house of high dollar players' that don't produce. Ronaldo & Kaka are out of the question for Madrid. Those two players' are staying put where they are at.
