Tevéz Vows Corinthians Return

(Soccer365.com) - West Ham striker Carlos Tevéz has declared that he will go back to play for Corinthians only after coach Emerson Leao gets the axe.

“I guarantee that I’ll return to Corinthians, a club that I truly love, although right now it’s not possible,” he told Brazilian television.

“I did have an offer from Flamengo, but I told the president that I couldn’t go – the only Brazilian team I’ll play for is Corinthians.”

“I watch all the Corinthians matches and it hurts when the team isn’t doing well,” said Tevéz of the early season strugglers.

“Even being here in England, I feel the desire to get onto the pitch and help my ex-teammates out.”

The sooner this big mouth goes back to South America the better! He choked in England BIG TIME! I'm tired of hearing this missing link run his mouth in the press & complain & blame all his problems on everybody else. This guy is not smart enough to keep quiet & work on his game. Just goes to show professional soccer players are not always the brightest people out there.

I haven't seen tevez since the olympics,he seemed to have agood a future, from what your'e saying he didn'e shine in England,I'm surprised, but it happens,he'll probably do well in Spain.

Tevez is an excellent player but he has the Crespo syndrome. All the ability anyone could ask for but can't seem to find it in England. Many Argentians have had a hard time in England because the 2 styles of play clash with one another. It would be the same for Gerrard if he played for the Boca Juniors. Tevez must go to Italy or Spain where his skills will be highlighted by the thinking mans, patient, chess like football. The run and gun style will not work for him. Having said that, I would like to see Tevez go to Roma or even Juventus where he could team up with Totti or Delpiero.

Hate to tell you this but there are still three run & gun teams that made it to the final eight. Guess it's safe to say their thinking man's patient chess like football is not serving them too bad wouldn't you say?

I wasn't trying to say that Italian or Spanish football is better than Englands. In truth, I like watching the EPL games because they are more exciting. I was just stating the facts. Englands game is more of a running, longball, rough and tumble game. The Italian league is more laid back, short passing, wait for the opponent to make a mistake kind of game. I apologize if I offended you in any way Tristan. I would still like to see Tevez go to Italy. Oh, we still have 2 teams in the running which isn't too bad.

Tevez needs to grow up. He needs to start acting like a man. He needs to be thankful that he's one of the few who is making millions playing on world class fields while the rest of the world soccer population works 9 to 5 all week & is lucky to have a half decent field to play on when Sunday morning soccer league games are played.

1st of all, Tevez is a quality player, if they give him the games, he will perform. It's no shock to me that now West Ham is giving starting him regularly, he's clearly been their best player the last few games. My question is, why on earth did he choose West Ham over all the clubs that were chasing him?? How good did he think they were going to be??

Ghost Rider the reason is Tevez though being a very good player is not very smart when it comes to life in general. Look at all the money & riche's Maradona had. It's all gone now & you know why? .. You can take the boy out of the ghetto but you cant take the ghetto out of the boy. This explains why Tevez does the things he does,

Sam...it's not really fair to compare Tevez to the greatest player that ever played turned cokehead. Maradona ruined himself with drugs, Tevez just decided to play for West Ham...big difference there. I think Tevez used correctly could become one of the most feared attackers in the game. He's got the skills, he just needs the mojo. He has to beleive in himself. Once that happens you will see an Argentian mastermind artist, painting a beautiful picture on the pitch. Give him time and a half decent team.

If Tevez stays in the Prem, he could be great. Right now, he's just having the same problems as Shevchenko and Ballack. This is a new league, and it takes a while to get used to. He just scored hisa first prem goal on a brilliant free kick against Fulham, and going back to Corinthians now would be a mistake. If he does, he'll be the Argentinean equivalent of Landon Donovan.

Tevez is just simple minded as a person, that's his problem. He's on a mental plane a boy caught up in a man's body. He never thinks before he speaks & he's burning bridges left & right & that's not very smart when you consider a professional soccer player's career is actually quite brief. The guy needs to grow up & focus on his game. He has world class skills, now he needs to develope a world class brain & quit acting like a country bumpkin!

I really do hope this Tevez boy goes back to South America as then we wont hear about him as much. He's just another idiot that had a chance to make something of his Career in England & blew it. Tevez, please go back to the Ghetto where you belong! The sooner the better!

hang in there tevez good days are coming
trust me.

Yeah Tevez, hang in there! Keep running your mouth!Pretty soon you will be back in the ghetto that spawned you!

Now I feel stupid. That's claeerd it up for me
