Beckham Not Back For Real
(Soccer365.com) - David Beckham has not been included in Real Madrid's squad for Saturday's Primera Liga match against Racing Santander.
The former England captain has been out of the first-team picture since damaging the internal lateral ligament in his right knee against Getafe on March 4 when he ran into the advertising hoardings behind the goal at the Bernabeu after attempting a cross.
Beckham, 31, has missed four league matches since then, plus the return leg of Madrid's Champions League last-16 encounter with Bayern Munich in Germany.
The injury also ruled Beckham out of a possible recall to the England set-up for their European Championship qualifying double-header against Israel and Andorra.
Having spent most of his time recovering in the gym, Beckham finally returned to squad training last Saturday, although he was unable to finish the session and was not included in Fabio Capello's squad for last Sunday's home match with Osasuna.
Beckham has continued his bid to prove his fitness this week, but did not take part in Friday morning's final training session ahead of the team's trip to the north coast.

This fake icon of a troll is not even a decent soccer player. If anything he's a wannabe c- rated actor. They shouldn't post stories about him here.

Yup your right. Nobody that knows anything about soccer can stand Beckham as he's a fake. Only little kids like him but they keep posting stories about the loser. It's too bad.

It's funny. This guy's gonna get 250 million and the best he can do is run into ad signs at the end of the field.

You missed the boat. It's not even a sport anymore. It's all about money. Beckham is not a player. He's a money maker. It's the end of the sport as we know it. Soccer has died. Marketing money making figures have replaced the true players. I hope something really bad happens to Beckham, & people like him.

HEY STANLEY! The sport that is futbol will never be just about money! I know players who played profesional soccer in their earlier years, but had to retire because of their age. Some of them are fifty years old and they still go out every saturday and play futbol in the park. Stanley I have a question for you. Do you play futbol? I bet you do. I will also bet you don't get payed for it. SO you see if you play futbol and don't get payed for it then it is not all about money.

I was refering to the professional level & the crazy amout of games those players have to play. That's why so many of them play injured. They are young now but wll pay for it later in life with all the abuse they inflict on their bodies. My point is at the professional level do to the greed of FIFA the game is indeed all about money.

There are people out there (including me) who love sport so much they would play it even if they didnt get paid. For some people stanley playing at the professional level or soccer is a dream and they dont care if they get paid or not ( well u have to get paid if u are pro but...) so soccer is declining just because some jerk named david beckham wants money money money and more money and doest give a crap about the sport or his fans.
