Blanco Ready For Adjustments
(Soccer365.com) - New Chicago Fire signing Cuauhtémoc Blanco admits he will need some time to become accustomed to his adopted hometown, but can name at least one exciting benefit to living in the Windy City – easy access to NBA basketball.
“It's like everything in life,” the Mexico star told the Chicago Tribune. “It'll be tough - the food will be different, I need to learn the language.”
“It's also hard leaving your family and the people who have always been behind you.”
Blanco is eager to move at the end of his Club América contract in July, so he can finally see Chicago’s most famous roundballers in the flesh.
“I like basketball a lot,” he stated. “My teammates and I have watched some of the Bulls' old tapes - I'm looking forward to seeing (them) play.”

I agree wolfen, 100% Blanco will do much more for MLS than Beckham. I'll pay to go see Blanco but no way would I even take a free ticket to go see Beckham. He's no soccer player. He's a wannabe Hollywood star.

I don't really know much about this Blanco guy, but as for Beckham, he's no soccer player eh? Did you even see the Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich game? He set up two of the goals and played a part in the third. So before you go saying he's trash and can't play maybe you should do a little research.
