Cole Back To Fire Up Chelsea

(Soccer365.com) - Jose Mourinho will welcome back England midfielder Joe Cole into the Chelsea squad for the visit of Valencia in their Champions League quarter-final, first leg at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night.

Cole has finally recovered from the stress fracture of the foot which has kept him out of action all season.

Mourinho had previously expressed fears that Cole would be out for the rest of the campaign, missing Chelsea's crucial Premiership run-in, FA Cup semi-final and the remainder of the Champions League bid.

But his return is bittersweet with Arjen Robben out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. England left-back Wayne Bridge is fit again after knee surgery.

Team (from): Cech, Cudicini, Hilario, Ferreira, Geremi, Diarra, Terry, Carvalho, Bridge, A Cole, Ballack, Makelele, Lampard, Essien, Wright-Phillips, Drogba, Kalou, Shevchenko, Mikel, J Cole.

Cole is a great player with unreal skills but unlike United's Ronaldo who is well over six feet tall Cole is a little guy & little guys' that like to hold the ball & do tricks & play with it for the sake of playing with it end up like Joe Cole which is ...Hurt! I hope he's learned from his experiences durring his time off & I hope he plays a little more cautious with more common sense or he will end up hurt again. Tricks are good for before & after training, & at the local park with your mates. Tricks are not good in the middle of big games for a player's club & country.

stanley you are right only one player can do tricks on the ball for 90minutes of the game is the best player in the world barce ronnie#10.
cole playing valencia with ayala and abilda
angola they well hurt him these are rough guys.i watch evey game epl laliga nname it i live fto watch soccer

Ronnie is a good player but more times more often than not he plays it safe. Other wise he would end up injured. It's funny being the hater you are of English soccer to see you post saying you watch all EPL games. What does evey mean anyway? Ok, now about the game I think Valencia against Chelsea will be a real all out battle as both sides like to come forward & attack.

Say what ? Ronnie? Best player in the world? Who does he play for? Barcelona? Who's that? Ah yes! They were the team taken out & sent home in shame by those ugly no talent kick & run English footballers' Liverpool. Imagine that! What's this world coming too!

I agree with u Stanley. Dr nyc u say u live to watch soccer? And u say Ronnie is the only player on the planet who can do tricks for a full 90 minutes? You are crazy! What about Robinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, E'too, Riqulme, ect. Soccer is a sport where doing tricks isnt bad. Yes u have to be careful but the tricks of the game is what makes soccer the "beautiful game".

yes i know that about the rest of players but what he does is tricks that others try during training ground . he is way above the rest up there all by himself

He's like you nyc which is to say he's in his own little world.

well i told you so roma 2 man utd 1 if i was living in england i would have won the football pool
lots of money. chelsea nice try valencia will done them in spain so much for epl great teams which are the best.

Hey Doc, don't count out the English teams yet. One things is undisputable about English teams, they play with heart. That goal by Rooney could be huge. 1-0 and United go through and its at Old Trafford. I wouldn't count out Chelsea either. They have plenty of quality on their squad.

Do you have more great arcitels like this one?
